Classic hopscotch already does a great deal of coordination work — single-leg balance, jumping accuracy, and following a number sequence in order, all at once. Hop Path keeps that foundation and adds a spin square at the midpoint, layering another activity into the middle of the sequence right when balance is already being tested. Individuals have to hold their sequencing and coordination together through the disruption of the spin, then pick the pattern back up.
