What Is A Sensory Circuit?

Sensory circuits use purposeful movement activities to support sensory regulation, helping individuals to feel more organised, focused and ready for the day. This works through sensory integration - the brain's process of organising information from the senses.

The three stages: Alerting, Organising and Calming - provide different types of sensory input to help children become more engaged, coordinated and regulated.

Our sensory circuit mats can be used individually or combined to create personalised sensory pathways, adapted to suit each child's unique sensory needs and profile. This can be especially valuable for children with additional needs, including autism, ADHD and sensory processing disorder, who may find it harder to regulate sensory input on their own.
