Comfort Path draws on four different calming strategies.

• Tracing the star combines a soothing repetitive motion.
• The shoulder taps offer the same benefit through rhythmic, bilateral touch.
• The self-hug provides deep pressure touch, a proprioceptive input with a well-documented calming effect;
• Picturing a happy place gives a mind somewhere safe to rest

Together, the four cover touch, breath, movement and mind in one sequence.
